PRESS RELEASE: Baker's Dozen Exhibition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

17th October 2011

13 UNLUCKY FOR SOME
But not for a group of kiwi artists.

"Baker's Dozen" is an expose of the visual talent New Zealand has to offer. 13 artists from all over New Zealand come together to showcase a unique range of artworks including paintings, photography, sculpture, glassware, handbags and jewellery.

The exhibition is being organised by local artist Tanya Dann, who's thrilled to be working with such a talented group of artists. "Each artist brings their own style to this exhibition. The combination of which will make for an exhibition not to be missed" says Dann.

"From beautiful landscapes and gorgeous abstracts to wire sculptures, music inspired photography, stunning silver jewellery and a range of pieces not traditionally considered art, there is certainly something for everyone in this exhibition".

The Otago Arts Society’s Art Station is open from 10am to 4pm, seven days a week, on the first floor of the historic Dunedin Railway Station at the foot of Stuart St. "Baker's Dozen" runs from the 1st - 13th of November.
