Cath Sheard works mainly in watercolour and acrylic. Her work leans more toward abstraction, particularly of the local landscape from which she draws much of her inspiration. Cath has a PG Dip (Sociology) and a Diploma of Arts & Creativity. A librarian by day, her deep love of words, people and the local surrounds all inform her work. She has exhibited throughout New Zealand and around the world.
Although Cath and I have never met in person I consider her a dear friend and am proud to have 2 of her pieces on my walls (the two pictured)
